New concentrated formula! Now 100mg per serving. Calcium, the most plentiful mineral found in the human body, ideally comprises 1.5 to 2% of an adult's total body weight. Every cell and organ in the body depends on Calcium for proper functioning. Teeth and bones contain the majority of the body's Calcium (about 99%), where it is stored for future uses.

The body uses Calcium for:

  • Digestion
  • Blood clotting
  • Nerve signal transmission (electrolyte)
  • Acid/alkaline balancing of blood.

We, as a society -- especially women over the age of 45 -- are routinely told by doctors, the government and the media to supplement with 1000-1500 mgs of Calcium daily. Women are led to believe that they are particularly prone to Calcium deficiency. (This is due to their presumed lower levels of estrogen which apparently restricts Calcium absorption.) Unfortunately, getting enough Calcium won't guarantee a lifetime of healthy bones. Interestingly, no other mammal on the planet consumes dairy or supplements with Calcium after they are weaned.

As with most tissues, bones are constantly being reformed; broken down and rebuilt. Bone resorption is the action of the body when it accesses bone for Calcium and other mineral elements stored there. Bone absorption is the opposite, whereby minerals are deposited in bone for future use.

Skeletal strength depends on many minerals, especially Silica, for bone collagen maintenance, but also includes Phosphorus, Magnesium, Boron, and Strontium.

The concern is getting the correct balance of minerals for Calcium to be effective. Calcium management issues can be due to a lack of dietary Silica. In fact, in the first volume of "Silica: the Forgotten Nutrient," author Klaus Kaufmann challenges the sole use of Calcium supplementation by adults and shows its interdependency with Silica. When evaluating the amount of Calcium in Eidon’s supplement, measured in milligrams, it seems that it contains very little Calcium. Keep in mind that the amount of absorbable Calcium available in a traditional tablet or capsule is highly questionable. However, Eidon's ionic liquid Calcium is bioavailable and quickly absorbed.

Deficiency Indicators:
Muscle twitching and spasm, muscle cramps, weakness, fainting, reduced bone density, brittle nails, numbness, and fatigue.

Food High in Calcium:
Wheat grass, all leafy greens, sardines with bones, orange juice and dairy products.

Eidon Liquid Minerals are All Natural, Highly Bioavailable and contain NO sugars, starch, artificial flavors, colors, preservatives or animal by-products. Vegan and Gluten-Free. Eidon uses the finest ingredients known to us in the formulation of our unique preparations. Out of respect for all life, we do not test - nor have we ever tested - our products on animals.

Obtaining the needed minerals via the food we eat is a chronic problem today. This is primarily due to our deficient soils and over processing and over cooking of our foods. Drinking ultra-purified water can also strip our body of these essential minerals. It is important to be aware of the fact that reverse osmosis and distilled water will actually act in reverse of what nature intended our water to do. Instead of being a mineral delivery system, the minerals are taken out of the water and this puts additional stress on the body tissue to compensate for the lack of minerals in the water. The minerals must then be taken from our healthy reserves in bone and muscle, thus leaving our system deficient and vulnerable. Replacement is essential!

Too many women suffer in silence about the adverse effects - I have been in trial and error with supplements - this product works great!

    Liquid Calcium

Posted by Deborah on 29th Mar 2020

This is a great product-especially if you don’t like swallowing calcium tablets and trying to remember to take calcium twice a day. I take this with bone support which may be overkill. However my bone mass has not diminished since I started taking it 2 years ago. I mix the 2 products with water and there is absolutely no taste!

    I am not a nutritionist...

However, I use these drops in my coffee every morning. I only know that Eidon has been recommended as a good product if you suspect what you are eating is not providing the minerals you need to absorb vitamins, whether they are from food or supplements .

    Excellent for sensitive stomachs

Posted by aimeset on 24th Jan 2020

All types and brands of other calcium supplements bother my stomach -- so much so that I stopped taking them. After a couple years off of calcium I started to have problems. I found this product after much trial and error and have never had any stomach problems with it. In fact, my whole GI tract feels better with taking. I'll never take anything else!

    easy to take

Posted by hertreeness on 8th Jan 2020

It is easy to take this form of calcium. Don't be fooled by the seeming low dosage. The only reason we have to take 800-1000 mgs of calcium in pill form is that the mineral is not well taken up by the body in that form. One tablespoon of this ionic liquid form is all you are going to need. Remember - if you are getting your calcium from the foods you eat, without supplements, you do not have to eat two big heads of romaine lettuce to get your daily dosage of calcium. That's because the body can extract the calcium easily from normal servings of food sources.

I mix these three minerals for amazing results...

Posted by Sarah Brooks - CA on 28th Mar 2017

I have had great results with taking the Calcium and Magnesium internally. I found that drinking one tablespoon of Calcium and one tablespoon of Magnesium was too much for me. It made me sleepy. My Magnesium levels are already too high, so I take only 1/2 teaspoon of the Calcium 18oz, 1/4 teaspoon of the Magnesium 18oz, with one drop of the Potassium 2oz topically... Now I have tons of energy. I also add about 10 grains of Celtic Sea Salt to my Calcium and Magnesium drink for energizing results!

    Healthy Nails

Posted by Vicky Korbelik, RN on 18th Feb 2013

I have been using Eidon Minerals, especially the liquid Calcium for a least 10 years. I was concerned that my nails were thin, chipped and easily broken, and as a woman, concerned that if my nails weren't healthy, what might be happening to my bones (as a nurse I knew that these nail changes could indicate that I might not be getting the amount of calcium in my diet that my body needed to keep my bones strong and healthy),I tried Eidon liquid Calcium and within 2 weeks the results were visible to me and my nails continued to grow stronger, longer, really looked healthier. that was ten years ago-I love this product! I like the idea of a liquid- but I can't take the thick, flavored, alternatives to capsules that all the other brands offer as calcium supplements. I haven't found any other calcium supplement that would tempt me to change brands. Keep up the good work!
